Scheduling an appointment is effortless at WHC Plastic Surgery. Simply contact our practice to arrange your consultation, or complete the booking form, and our team will reach out promptly to assist you with the next steps.

Consultation

At WHC Plastic Surgery, every consultation begins with a thoughtful and comprehensive review of your medical and surgical history, followed by a personalised discussion to understand and define your aesthetic goals. From there, your surgeon will craft a bespoke treatment plan - a clear and meticulous roadmap designed to safely and artfully realise your desired result.

Operation

On the morning of your surgery, Dr Chen will review the surgical plan with you in detail before you enter the operating theatre, ensuring you feel fully informed and at ease. You will then meet our dedicated anaesthetic team, who are there to help you relax and ensure your comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Your surgery will then be performed with precision and care.

Before you leave the hospital, your follow-up appointment will be scheduled, and all necessary medication will be thoughtfully arranged to support your recovery.

When most people think about facial ageing, they think about wrinkles. While wrinkles are certainly part of the process, they represent only one aspect of a much broader set of anatomical changes that occur over time.

Non-healing wounds - When Healing needs Surgical Help

Not all wounds heal as expected.

While most surgical incisions and traumatic injuries follow a predictable healing process, some wounds persist for weeks or months. When this happens, it is no longer simply a matter of time - it may require specialist assessment.

A chronic wound is generally defined as a wound that fails to progress through normal stages of healing within an expected timeframe.

What recovery really looks like after surgery

One of the most common questions patients ask is: "How long will recovery take?"

The honest answer is that recovery is not a single event - It is a process, and understanding that process is key to achieving the best possible outcome.

Liposuction vs Tummy Tuck: Understanding the Difference

Patients often use the terms liposuction and tummy tuck interchangeably, yet these procedures address very different concerns. Understanding the distinction is essential when considering abdominal surgery, as choosing the wrong procedure can lead to disappointing results.
